All about me!
My name is Launi Sue Newman but I go by Suzie. I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I married Tom Newman and we moved to Star Valley Wyoming in 1999, 5 years after we were married. We lived in Star Valley for 12 years before moving to Lovell, in June of 2012. I have 5 beautiful children and feel very blessed to have them in my life.
I love education and I am an avid supporter of public education. Growing up I had a neighbor with down syndrome and did volunteer work at a school specific for children with high needs. I have always had a special place in my heart for children with disabilities and eventually obtained a degree in Special Education.
I attended Brigham Young University in Provo Utah directly out of high school, but never finished my degree. I went back to school when my youngest child was 3 and finished my degree on-line at Prescott College in Arizona.
I am so excited to be a part of the community in Lovell and part of the school district!
