It’s a pleasure to greet all of you visiting our website. I hope you get a chance to stop in and visit our school, either for an event, parent teacher conferences or just to meet me or other staff members.  I believe in building strong relationships with our community since we serve the students and parents of this great district, and I invite you to get involved with LES anyway you can.

This is my second year as the LES Principal. Even though I’ve only been at this school for two years it is my 17th year working in BGH#2.  My first 15 years here, I was the Lovell High School Principal.  Before moving to Lovell, I worked in a variety of capacities as an educator after graduating from college in 1987. These include working as an English teacher, guidance counselor, K-12 Principal, Middle School Principal, High School Principal and now Elementary Principal. I was born and raised in Wolf Point, MT where my family were wheat farmers. I completed my undergraduate degree with a bachelor of science in English and Psychology Education. I have a Master’s of Education, in Counseling and Development and a K-12 endorsement in Educational Leadership. One of my greatest accomplishments was when Lovell High School won the National Blue Ribbon in 2013. I along with some of the LHS staff were presented this prestigious award in Washington D.C.

I am married to Stacy O'Tremba and we have two daughters, a son-in-law and one granddaughter. I met Mrs. O'Tremba when she was teaching in a one-room school house outside of Miles City, MT. Even though my brother and I are both principals, no other family member had ever been in education before us, and I only know of one other close relative who graduated with a four-year college degree. I come from a long line of farmers and ranchers. My hobbies are watching Minnesota Viking football, Boston Celtic basketball, going for walks with our dog, Lucy, fly-fishing, and spending time with my family

I love working as an elementary principal and working in BGH#2. Together, I believe, we will achieve great things for our kids!
